1. Saturday Afternoon Painting Classes with Kenneth Cobb

Paint alongside Ken as he walks you through an acrylic painting from start to finish.  A class for all levels of experience!   Classes will be held at the Gmeiner Art and Cultural Center.

Saturdays 1– 4pm:

September 16, 23 and 30.  October 7, 21 and 28.   November 4, 11 and 18.   December 2, 9 and 16.

 

$25 per person.  Materials provided.   Age 13 to adult.

Minimum of 4 sign-ups for class to run, maximum of 12.

2. Beginning Art Lessons

A series of classes designed for the beginner artist.  Each class will address and explore concepts associated with the 2-D arts including drawing, color theory, watercolor, and acrylic painting throughout the Fall.

Tuesdays 6– 8:30 pm:

3. Workshop; Traditional Layering with Oils

A seven day workshop exploring the layering process in oil painting.  We will be using a traditional method of creating a painting starting from a drawing and building up through to a finished full color oil painting.

Saturdays 9 am – 12pm:  September 16, 23, and 30.  October 7, 21, and 28.   November 4

Workshop Fee $150;  minimum of 4 people for workshop to run, maximum of 12.

Brushes (small and medium sized)

Small Glass Jar with lid

Palette (1/4 in thick Glass Recommended) or Palette paper.

Generals Charcoal Pencils

Kneaded Eraser

1 can of Acrylic Final Spray Fixative-Matte Finish.

 

Photo or non-perishable still life to work from.  Subject should be colorful
